Parents’ Information Day by AllAboutSchoolLeavers.co.uk – Manchester

Venue: PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, No. 1, 1 Hardman Street , M3 3EB

10.00-14.00, Saturday 2nd March 2019

There are a variety of options available for your child once they leave school – university is not the only route that will lead to a fruitful and fulfilling career.

Find out more about other opportunities such as apprenticeships and school leaver programmes at AllAboutSchoolLeavers’ Parents Information Day, on Saturday 2nd March 2019.

The purpose of the day is to bring parents together with school leaver employers and training providers. Of course, your children are welcome and expected to come, but the day is built around you, the parent.

Employers who will be attending include:

  • PwC
  • EY
  • Accenture
  • Arcadis
  • WhatCareerLive
  • BCLP
  • Nestlé

The day will begin with a short introductory talk from AllAboutSchoolLeavers on the different routes a young person can take when they leave school.

The second part of the day will involve information talks on a range of topics, including, but not limited to, a day in the life of an apprentice, the application process explained and what an apprentice has done 5 years since starting their apprenticeship.

Once the information talks are completed, there will be an exhibition where parents and employers can meet and discuss anything they have about an employer or the opportunities they offer.

Throughout the entire day, there will be access to an in-situ library where you are welcome to access the literature and materials available there, including the AllAboutSchoolLeavers Parent’s Guide.
